M Squared Educational Services, LLC provides SAT preparatory classes, private tutoring and SMART Board training for educational institutions. M Squared is the collaboration of Liz Murphy and Marianne McCormick, two highly qualified, experienced teachers with Masters Degrees. Unlike other test preparation companies or tutoring agencies where recent college graduates or contracted tutors with no personal investment in the company they work for provide the instruction, M Squared classes or tutoring sessions are taught exclusively by Liz or Marianne. What sets their instruction apart is they understand pedagogy, curriculum, and most importantly, students' needs.

SAT PREPATORY CLASSES

M Squared's SAT prep class is designed to help students optimize their score potential. M Squared combines small class sizes and personalized attention to help students master test taking strategies and gain the confidence they need to succeed on the exam. Unlike many other SAT prep options, this class provides more services at an affordable price. The class includes one full-length practice exam and twenty four hours of grammar, writing, and math instruction. The class focuses on both test taking strategies and content mastery. In addition, students will receive detailed personalized score reports from the practice exam that will help to identify particular strengths and weaknesses. ACADEMIC TUTORING

Private tutoring can help students build confidence in their ability, which in turn will translate into success in their academic classes. The goal of private tutoring is for students to gain the necessary knowledge and develop critical skills to help them not just in one particular class, but throughout their academic career. M Squared offers tutoring for standardized tests, reading and writing remediation for grades K-12, and math instruction at all levels. The rate for private tutoring is $50 per hour.

SMART BOARD TRAINING

SMART boards are becoming more prevalent in schools and can be used by teachers across all content areas. When used properly, SMART Boards not only liven up a lesson, but also enhance learning and make teaching more effective. M Squared offers SMART Board training for teachers who want to learn the basics for designing their own interactive lessons. Contact us to coordinate a training session to fit your specific needs.
